Enable Platform Modernization
Principal PM at Enable: discovery and design for the move to an AI-first, API-enabled rebate platform, new data object models, and folding the Flintfox acquisition's pricing into the workflow.

Enable manages rebates in the supply chain, the deals between manufacturers, distributors, and retailers that decide who actually made money on a quarter. The product had grown as an application. The next stage of growth needed it to be a platform: integrated with the systems around it, addressable through APIs, and able to put AI to work on data it could finally reach.
I led all discovery and design for that modernization, along with a revised vision of what the next stage of growth required. The concrete work was in the data layer. Rebates are structurally complicated, tiered, retroactive, conditional, and every customer’s ERP models the underlying transactions differently, so the first deliverable was discovery of modern data object models and the new APIs that would let integrations be built against them without a custom project each time.
The other thread was the Flintfox acquisition. Flintfox does pricing; Enable does rebates; a customer wants the two to be one workflow. I helped onboard the acquisition into the product, which is a data modeling problem and an organizational one in equal measure.
As at Splash and Crossbeam, the period ended with an updated connectivity strategy: the written argument for which integrations the platform needs, in what order, and what each one is worth.
